Text Box:       Rally Day Round-Up - August 29 One Service - 9:30 am Immediately following the 9:30 Worship Service we will begin our  Church Wide Rally Day Kick-off. There will be Games, Activities, loads of information and a BBQ. A BBQ lunch of pork, beans and chips, will be served @ 11:00 am. Please bring either a salad or a dessert to share.   Come dressed in your ”Western” attire and don’t miss the fun!        Text Box: Stephen Ministry Training Program     Stephen Ministry is one of the ways our congregation reaches out to others who are in the midst of working through life’s difficulties. A Stephen Minister listens without judging, prays, and shares Christ’s example of love and compassion in confidential meetings with a care receiver assigned to them. The training program is designed to prepare you with techniques that are helpful in any care giving situation.   We plan to begin a training program the week of Sept. 20, 2010, involving 50hrs. of class - work plus reading assignments. Text Box: Sunday, September 5th Dave and Sue Thomas, members of our church who are serving as PC(USA) co-missionaries in Mexico, will assist Pastor Chris Johnson in leading worship. Between services, Dave and  Sue will give a mission presentation in the church library. The mission committee will present Dave & Sue with a check from the mission tournament golfers and friends. Thanks to all who played in the tournament and contributed donations.
